The Role 

The Chief Executive Officer serves as chief executive  and, in partnership with the Board, is responsible for the success. Together, the Board and Chief Executive Officer assure  relevance to the community, the accomplishment of its mission and vision, and its accountability to its clients. The Board delegates responsibility for management and day-to-day operations to the Chief Executive Officer and s/he has the authority to carry out these responsibilities, in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Board. The Chief Executive Officer provides direction and enabling to the Board as it carries out its governance functions.  

The Ideal Candidate

         Masterís Degree in related area (ie.  MPA, LCSW, MBA) strongly preferred. 

          Minimum 5 years of experience in senior level management preferably in a nonprofit human service industry. 

         Knowledge of industry regulations:  NYS OMH, OMIG, and county level.

         Some experience in the field of philanthropy, nonprofit governance, and community relations is preferred.

         Some general knowledge of fund development is also preferred.

        A high level of personal skills is required to make formal, persuasive presentations to groups and to deal effectively with people from all segments of the community.

Vice President of Quality

The Role

The VP Quality Service reports directly to the President/CEO and maintains a close working relationship with the hospital Senior Staff, Medical Director and the Medical Directors for Inpatient Services, Emergency Services and Ambulatory/Operative Services. The VP provides overall direction for quality, risk management, patient safety, patient experience, Lean Projects, and Medical Staff credentialing, ensures achievement of the established quality and patient safety objectives of the Healthcare Network in fulfillment of mission and vision, participates in hospital budget, operations and strategy planning, actively participates with the Medical Staff and Board of Trustees to achieve operational and strategic plans to fulfill the mission of the organization, is responsible for ensuring compliance with full accreditation by the Joint Commission (TJC) and other national and state quality initiatives, verify all quality and risk related registrations, communication and reporting requirements with regulatory bodies are met, leads CRH to success with core measures, HCAHPS scores and other outcome measures, designs and implements system that result in improved  patient care management, improved clinical outcomes, increased work flow efficacy and efficiency, increase cost effectiveness, and ensure high patient satisfaction, and is responsible for coordinating activities related to quality with the Healthcare Network.
